George R. Brown Convention Center

We started at the fountain right in front of the George R. Brown Convention Center. This is a great spot for both an urban and greenery feel. The yellow umbrellas and big red doors made for cute color additions to these pictures. I also loved the big windows that you can get creative with. This is right next to Discovery Green which has so many photo op spots. Emma picked 2 locations and 2 outfits. She chose a blue romper with heels for her first outfit choice. This really dressed up her pictures!

Get to know Emma...

Emma is a Senior at Katy High School. She has been a proud cheerleader since she was little. She lovesss Arianna Grande- she even got to see her in concert in Houston!! Her favorite junk food is anything with chocolate. Emma is a busy bee- she's not only a student and athlete, but she is also in cosmetology school. She plans on finishing her senior year with a cosmetology license. She would like to cheer in college and become a hairstylist!

Mommas

Emma's mom tagged along to cheer on her cheerleader. She was such a help in making sure Emma's hair was just right and helping my lug my tripod around Discovery Green. Her mom is a coach for gymnastics/tumbling/cheer and even coached my son in gymnastics!

I love when mamas join us because they get to see all the behind the scenes that go into these photos. Having mom there makes this even more special.

Second Location & Outfit Change

We spent about 45 minutes at our first location then headed to Sabine Street Bridge. Emma really wanted some pictures with the Houston Skyline- Sabine Bridge was perfect for this!

Emma decided on a black leather 2 piece white red hightop sneakers. I loved the color contrast with her outfit & shoes. Seniors typically choose 1 outfit that is dressier and then a casual outfit as well. Because of her street style outfit we wanted to make a quick stop at the skate park to start. We then finished our session on the bridge with the sunset.
